Brashear Baseball at LaPlata April 21, 2018 The Tigers were on the road for a double-header at LaPlata Friday. In the 1st game, Brashear was able to get base runners aboard every inning, but were only able to score a pair of runs in the 2nd. Meanwhile, LaPlata scored 9 runs in the 1st on their way to a 15-2 win. Aden Zentz had 2 hits for Brashear with Zane Sykes, Wyatt Reeves, Brhet Place, Garrett Housman, and John Gerhold also having hits. Garrett Housman got the start with Quin Allen and Austin Peterson pitching in relief. In the 2nd game, Brashear limited LaPlata to 3 runs in the 1st and 1 run in the 2nd, before the Bulldogs exploded for 11 runs in the 4th to defeat the Tigers 15-0. Brhet Place and John Gerhold each had a hit for Brashear. Brhet Place got the start with Colton Sayre pitching in relief.
